Building Inspections by a Chartered Surveyor
Building Inspections by a Chartered Surveyor
Ideal for pre 1850’s or unusual properties. A level three survey is more thorough and detailed than others and will address matters such as the materials used for each part of the building, defects and remedial options as well as issues related to the future maintenance of the property.
Previously called a ‘Home Buyer Report’ an RICS Level 2 Home Survey is most suitable for conventional properties that are in reasonable condition and are simple in form and layout. The report gives you more detailed information about the property, and ideas about future repairs or maintenance that may be required.
For ‘Probate’, ‘Shared Ownership’ and ‘Help-to-Buy’ valuations, following the inspection process, we will typically make detailed inquiries into the local property market, researching and analysing comparable transactions, utilising valuation methodologies to arrive at an opinion of valuation.
